Al-Nahrain Foundation for Transparency and Integrity Holds Training Workshop in Al-Diwaniyah as Part of the “With Transparency and Accountability, We Support Integrity” Program
Al-Nahrain Foundation for Transparency and Integrity organized a training workshop in Al-Diwaniyah Province within the framework of the program “With Transparency and Accountability, We Support Integrity,” in cooperation with the Federal Commission of Integrity and with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The workshop was attended by representatives of civil society organizations, along with staff from the administrative, financial, legal, and inspection departments of the Directorates of Education and Health, as well as employees of the Al-Diwaniyah Investigations Office – Investigations Directorate – Federal Commission of Integrity. Also present were experts from the Federal Commission of Integrity in Baghdad specializing in transparency and the protection of public funds, in addition to representatives of the local government.
The training was held at the Venice Hall in Al-Jazair District. It concluded with the formation of a Transparency and Accountability Team in the province, consisting of six civil society organizations and representatives of government directorates, chaired by a representative of the local government.
