President of Al-Nahrain Foundation Meets with General Director of Baghdad Health Directorate – Rusafa, Accompanied by Representatives from the Commission of Integrity
The President of Al-Nahrain Foundation for Transparency and Integrity, along with representatives from the Federal Commission of Integrity, met with Dr. Alaa Kazem Al-Muhamdawi, General Director of Baghdad Health Directorate – Rusafa, to discuss the implementation of the Enhancing Transparency in the Health Sector program, the application of Financial Management Law No. 6 of 2019, and achieving the objectives of sustainable development goals.
During the meeting, the General Director reviewed the detailed plan for implementing transparency programs in the health sector, applying financial management practices, and coordinating with the Federal Commission of Integrity. Dr. Al-Muhamdawi emphasized his directorate’s readiness to cooperate with all government bodies to ensure the development of the health sector in Rusafa.
He also highlighted that the directorate has extensive plans to improve health institutions, ensuring the provision of high-quality healthcare services to citizens and the development of healthcare staff.
Meanwhile, the President of Al-Nahrain Foundation stressed the importance of applying transparency principles in the health sector, as they contribute to combating corruption and enhancing oversight and accountability.
