The Al-Nahrain Foundation for Supporting Transparency and Integrity, in cooperation with the Maysan Governorate Office, held a training workshop as part of the program “Enhancing Financial Transparency in the Health and Education Sectors.”
The workshop was attended by a group of active civil society organizations in the governorate. It introduced the role and duties of the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy Implementation Team, as well as the reports submitted to the Federal Commission of Integrity. The discussions also addressed the problem of corruption and stressed the importance of enforcing the Financial Management Law No. 6 of 2019.
