Under the patronage of the Al-Nahrain Network for Supporting Integrity, the Federal Commission of Integrity, in cooperation with the Maysan Health Directorate, organized a training workshop at the Al-Shaheed Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital on the “Enhancing Financial Transparency Program.” The workshop was attended by Dr. Salam Abdullah Al-Mousawi, Deputy Director-General for Administrative Affairs.
The training targeted hospital directors, sector managers, department heads, specialized centers, and staff from the legal, accounting, inspection, and information technology units.
Dr. Al-Mousawi stated that the workshop contributes to developing a plan for the directorate that will help improve the quality of health services provided to citizens through the rule of law, combating corruption, and rebuilding trust in government institutions to protect public funds.
