The Nahrain Foundation for Supporting Integrity and Prohibition held a protest against the Government Accountability and Deficit Program - Public Sector, on 20/8/2025 at the Terminal (A) Foundation in Baghdad.
With the participation of (15) trainees from the Federal Integrity Commission employees - Prevention Department to introduce the United Nations Convention against Corruption - Chapter Two (Preventive Measures)
International assessments of Iraq and the extent of its commitment to and implementation of Chapter II of the UN Convention against Corruption were reviewed.
The government transparency and accountability enhancement program will run for two years and targets the public sector, the private sector, and civil society organizations. It focuses on the extent of compliance with and implementation of the UN Convention in Chapters II and III, contributing to raising Iraq's assessment level after Iraqi institutions are encouraged to implement it optimally.
